If you decide that the Blu Blu Network isn’t for you, or if you decide you don’t want to stake your VID tokens anymore, you’re welcome to unstake. It’s easy to do.
Note: after you unstake your VID tokens, there will be an unbonding period of 21 days before you can withdraw your tokens. You’ll earn a share of our rewards according to the number of blocks that your tokens are staked with us.
First, head over to: https://staking.videocoin.network/
Log into your MetaMask wallet via the browser extension. From there, your staking information should appear on the dashboard:
- Total staked: in the bottom left, under your wallet details
- Staked per worker: next to the worker you staked, under personal stake
Click the worker that you want to unstake.
Under “worker staking,” toggle to unstake and set the amount of VID tokens you want to remove from the network. Finalize and double check your dashboard, then click “unstake tokens” at the bottom.
Make sure you have a small amount of ETH to make the transaction.
Click “agree” to the terms & conditions and privacy policy to continue. Your MetaMask wallet should populate on the browser. If insufficient funds are showing, click “edit” gas fee, toggle to the “advanced” tab and manually lower the gas limit and gwei of the transaction.
Save the gas fee settings and click confirm on MetaMask. Give the network some time to process the unstaking – and you’re set!
