The VideoCoin Network Set to Enter Asia Market

The VideoCoin Network has begun a targeted marketing mission in Asia, a market where we have low visibility today and which offers a significant upside for our business and community.

The first step was the launch of both Chinese and Korean versions of our websites on July 14. You may now view our sites in these languages by clicking on the flag icon at the top of both Videocoin.io and Videocoin.Network.

We are now pulling together additional marketing components to further our entry into the Korean and Chinese markets. To drive awareness in these markets, Telegram groups are being set up; the group in South Korea is growing rapidly, and one in China is soon to be launched.

Recently, on June 26, the VideoCoin South Korea community held its first AMA with the VideoCoin team to discuss the latest project developments. In addition, we have conducted initial discussions with executives at SK Telecom.

The South Korean streaming market offers interesting opportunities for the VideoCoin Network; for example, we can support the country’s Wavve OTT service, which is a major video streaming initiative backed by SK Telecom and South Korea’s broadcasters. Additional updates on these and related activities will be shared soon.

“Developing the Asian markets is critical to our success here at VideoCoin Network,” said Halsey Minor. “Localization is a first step towards increasing our visibility each and every day helping us penetrate these immensely important markets.”

Bigger Brand Footprint

By extending our reach into these regions, we tap into two brand new markets that have a considerable interest in blockchain technology and a high demand for video infrastructure.

Since the beginning of our journey, our objective has been twofold: 1) to launch a best of breed product, and 2) then identify and go after markets representing significant opportunity. Having completed Step 1 of our plan in May with the commercial availability of the VideoCoin Network, we are now moving forward with Step 2.

With multiple tactics still underway, we have set our sights on broadening the awareness of the project. Part of that process involved the recent signing of well-known PR firm Bob Gold & Associates.

We are excited about our Asia expansion and will continue to update you on additional marketing initiatives as we progress. More news to come soon!
